The Impact of Ethical Leadership on Organizational Bullying through Organizational Trust and Social Capital (Case Study: Islamic Azad University, Isfahan Branch)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of ethical leadership on organizational bullying through organizational trust and social capital (Case study: Islamic Azad University, Isfahan Branch). The purpose of the present study is to determine the purpose of the study and to collect the descriptive correlational data. The statistical population of this study consisted of 1000 employees of Islamic Azad University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran. 287 people were selected as sample by proportional stratified sampling method using Cochran sampling formula. Et al. (2011 (Innesen et al. (2009), Corporate Bullying Standard Questionnaire, and Nahapitoguchal Social Capital Questionnaire) 1998), and Fayahan and Marlowe (1997) Standard Confidence Questionnaire, validity of the questionnaires based on content, face, and construct validity). And after the necessary jargon The validity of the questionnaires was estimated as 0.93, 0.91, 0.91, and 0.92 by Cronbach's alpha, respectively. Data analysis was performed at inferential level including structural equation modeling.The results showed that ethical leadership through organizational trust had a significant and negative effect on organizational bullying with a coefficient of -0.57 and a significant negative impact on organizational bullying through social capital with a coefficient of -0.67. Also, the direct effect of ethical leadership on organizational bullying has a negative significant coefficient of -0.77.
