Investigating the Relationship between Individual Factors, Training Design and Organizational Support with the Transfer of Training and Teacher Performance

Abstract

Objective: Today, creating opportunities for the application and transfer of teachers' learning to their job position is one of the key concerns of managers in education. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the relationship between teacher transfer and teacher performance with other organizational concepts. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between individual factors, education design and organizational support with the transfer of education and teacher performance.

Method: This research was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in nature and field-type in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the study includes all 729 teachers graduated from Farhangian University who have been teaching in high schools in Tabriz for the last three years. The sample size was 252 people using stratified random sampling method and Morgan table. To collect data from standard questionnaires of individual factors Holton et al. (2000), education design Omidvar (2015), organizational support of Eisenberger et al. (1986), Salorenzo education transfer (2004) and Patterson job performance (1970) used. The validity of the instruments was evaluated using face and content validity and the reliability of the instruments was evaluated by Cronbach's alpha method. Pearson correlation and linear regression by SPSS 24 software were used to analyze the research data.

Findings: The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between individual factors, training design and organizational support with training transfer. Also, there is a positive and significant relationship between the transfer of education and teachers' performance. The results showed that organizational support, educational design, individual factors and educational transfer positively predict teachers' performance.

Conclosion: According to the findings, the variables of individual factors, training design and organizational support for the transfer of training and teacher performance should be considered
