Investigating The Effective Factors on The Teaching Effectiveness of Primary Teachers in Sarein City in The Academic Year 2023-2024

Abstract

Background and purpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors affecting the teaching effectiveness of primary teachers in Sarein city in the academic year of 1401-1402.
Method: In this study, the research method used is based on quantitative paradigm. In terms of collecting data and information, the research is considered a descriptive (non-experimental) type of research, which is considered among the descriptive methods in the survey category. The statistical population of this research is all the teachers and principals of primary school teachers in Sarein city. who were teaching in the schools of Sarein city in the academic year of 2023-2024, due to the smallness of the statistical population, all people were selected as samples. To measure the researched variable, the questionnaire "Evaluation of effective factors on effective teaching" (Nasraleh Erfani, 2018) was used. Data was analyzed with spss software. Spearman's correlation test was used to analyze the hypotheses.
Results: The findings of the research showed that between the components of comprehensive approach to teaching (r=0.844, solving learning problems (r=0.934), having a lesson plan (r=0.847), creating learning and participation (r = 0.880), evaluation (r = 0.916), positive reinforcement and effective teaching (r = 0.863), creating a suitable atmosphere (r = 0.889), time management and effective teaching (p< 0.01, r=0.859) there is a positive and significant relationship.
Conclusion: The results indicate that teachers' competencies in time management, solving learning problems, designing and implementing appropriate lesson plans, creating a participatory environment, and utilizing positive reinforcements all contribute to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of teaching. Based on these findings, it is recommended that training programs for teachers be designed to strengthen these components, leading to more effective and successful teaching in the schools of Sarin County.
