Background and Objective: One of the management tools that requires a specific framework for implementation in universities is the establishment of a knowledge management system. Successful implementation of knowledge management in a university leads to the organization's ability to create a positive climate in which knowledge flows freely. In this regard, the aim of this study is to present a model for implementing knowledge management in Mohaghegh Ardili University.
Method: The method of this research is based on the main strategy of quantitative and purpose-based application and is descriptive-correlational in nature. The statistical population of the present study is all employees of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, whose number at the time of the research was 380 people. The statistical sample was selected through stratified sampling and the sample size was determined as 181 people according to the Krejci and Morgan table.
results: Based on the research results, the factors affecting the implementation of knowledge management at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili are: (1) Senior management commitment and knowledge-based orientation (2) Employee training and empowerment (3) Organizational culture (4) Information system infrastructure (5) Modeling. These factors explain 72.32 percent of the total variance, and the contribution of the senior management commitment and knowledge-based orientation factor is 56.27 percent, which indicates the greatest impact of this factor on the establishment of knowledge management.
Conclusion: Establishing knowledge management in universities leads to improved work quality, availability of updated information, increased efficiency, improved decision-making, increased responsiveness to customer needs, and the possibility of rapid change and adaptability.
